Can I get my packet the morning of the race?

Please pick up your materials at either the Sunday or Wednesday packet pick-up options! For those traveling from out of town, you may still grab your items the morning of the race, but make sure you are in line EARLY! If you do not have your race bib by 7AM, you will not receive an official time!

When is packet pick-up?

Accepted Answer

Packet pick-up will take place on TWO different dates this year.

Option one: Sunday, Nov. 22 from 10am to 1pm

Option two: Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 3-5pm

Both events will be taking place on the outdoor pool deck of Life Time Summerlin. And yes, you may pick-up the race materials for your friends or family.

For the packet pick-up events, please enter via the SIDE GATE by the parking garage, rather than the main entrance of the building.

If absolutely necessary, you may also grab your race bib the morning of the race, but please know if you arrive AFTER 7am, you will not receive an official time.

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Free parking will be available for all participants. Runners will park near the start of the race at the parking lots across from the Las Vegas Ballpark. Entrance will be right off of Orchard Park Dr. For easy access take Town Centre Dr. to Orchard Park Dr. and look for the parking lot attendants in yellow vests to help guide you.

Space is VERY LIMITED at Life Time Summerlin and it is suggested that you DO NOT park there.

What time do I need to arrive?

The shotgun will go off for the 5k race starting at 7:30am. We suggest arriving at least 30-minutes early to prepare for large crowds, traffic and parking. We will be leading a pre-run stretch at the start line.

Please note if you are picking up your packet the morning of the race, you must receive your timing chip by 7am in order for your time to count, so get there EARLY (6am is suggested)! Lines tend to build as it gets closer to race start time.

Which Life Time location is the race being held at?

The 5k event will take place at LIFE TIME SUMMERLIN! Please make sure you head to the Summerlin location, NOT the Green Valley location for both packet pick-up and race day.

Do I need to run with my kids for the Family Mile?

Accepted Answer

We STRONGLY suggest that you do run with your kids. The main reason being, this will grant you access to the post race event after the run is over, and you will also receive a finisher's medal for partaking with your child. We also cannot be held responsible should anything happen to your child during the race.

What is the 5K run route?

Accepted Answer

The course is a large loop leaving from the Las Vegas Ballpark (Aviators Stadium) and ending at Life Time Summerlin, taking in the breathtaking views of the Red Rock Mountains, zooming past Faith Lutheran, and enjoying the tree lined streets that surround the route.

What is the Kids Mile run route?

Accepted Answer

The Kids Mile Fun Run will kickoff at the same time and location as the 5k. They will start toward the back corral, behind the 5k athletes. The run will begin the same way as the 5k, but take a u-turn right before getting to Town Center and head back up Griffith Peak. This is an ideal route for children and their parents to partake in the event and join in on the fun.

What is included with my admission?

All participants will receive an official race bib, event swag, finisher's medal, and admission to the post-race event on the pool deck at Life Time Summerlin. Finisher's medal is pictured below for the 2025 race.

Question 10

Can I run with a stroller?

Accepted Answer

YES! Parents may absolutely run the race while pushing a stroller, but we do encourage stroller runners to start toward the back of the start line.

Question 11

Can I run with a pet?

Accepted Answer

We strongly encourage you to leave all four-legged friends at home for the race. Animals are not permitted in the post race event at Life Time Summerlin.

Question 12

Can I bring a guest who is not running?

Accepted Answer

Guests who are not running are welcome to join you at the post-race event, but they will still need to park in the lot with the other runners across from Las Vegas Ballpark. Guests may enter with a valid form of ID via the side gate on Spruce Goose St. across from City National Bank. Please see map below.
